Music Together of Park Slope
Our Classes

Our 45-minute classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability.  2 CDs and Songbook are included!

Our 6-class summer session, is coming to a close.   The 10-class fall schedule will be posted by August 1st.

Show classes for:
Mixed-age Class

Mixed-age classes have an age range from birth through 4. They provide a family-like atmosphere that enables siblings to attend together and gives every child the freedom to participate without age specific expectations. This is the Music Together model.

Babies Class

Babies classes are designed for pre-verbal, pre-mobile infants, seven months and younger. Our Baby Collections are a terrific resource for new parents, with many lullabies, lap songs, and songs without words.

You should take the Babies Class if:

  • your baby is still content to lay on his or her back for short periods of time
  • you prefer to be in a class without toddlers and older children
  • you prefer a more gentle introduction to group activities

Adult Guitar

A guitar class for adults registered in our family Music Together program.  Learn basic beginner concepts, including simplified chords and accompany your family as you enjoy the current song collection.  The class will be taught by registered Music Together teachers, and all enrollees must bring their own guitar, capo, and family song book to class.
